American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH)
As the certifying body for the Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and Certified Associate Industrial Hygienist (CAIH) credentials, ABIH offers the most prestigious occupational hygiene certifications in the world. For more than 50 years it has been the world’s largest not-for-profit corporation that certifies industrial hygiene professionals. ABIH ensures high-quality certification application and examination processes, certification maintenance and ethics governance and enforcement.
ABIH is an IOHA recognized Certification Board and is accredited by ANSI and CESB. ABIH believes in the critical value of industrial hygiene professionals to continue to develop their knowledge and skills throughout their careers as technology advances and regulations become more complex and stringent. With a stress on the importance of certification as an indicator of professionals, ABIH promotes the high standards of conduct for people serving in the interest of public health.

American Industrial Hygiene Association (AIHA)
Since the late 1930s AIHA has grown to one of the largest international associations that serve the needs of occupational and environmental health and safety professionals who practice industrial hygiene in industry, government, labor, academic institutions, and independent organizations. Of the 10,240 members of AIHA, 80 percent are college graduates, 42 percent have obtained master’s degrees, and 12 percent hold doctoral degrees.
AIHA continues to achieve and maintain the highest professional standards for its members, and works in conjunction with the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) in promoting the IH certification. They offer education programs to keep occupational and environmental health and safety professionals current in their field and operate several highly recognized laboratory accreditation programs that help ensure the data quality used in making critical worker protection decisions.
AIHA is directly affiliated with ABIH and accepts CM points awarded by ABIH for Primatech training courses. IH and OEHS credential holders who wish to maintain their professional development and continuing education requirements may receive credits by completing training with Primatech.

Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP)
BCSP is recognized as the premier certification body that offers credentialing services to safety, health, and environmental practitioners. Its purpose is to certify professionals in the safety industry in order to enhance the safety of people, property, and the environment. Holders of the CSP credential are required to uphold very high standards and to maintain their certification by continuing their education and staying current on laws and changes in governmental regulations and industry standards.

Board of Environmental, Health & Safety Auditor Certifications (BEAC)
BEAC was established for the purpose of issuing professional certifications in the environmental, health, and safety auditing and related scientific fields. As a member of the Council of Engineering and Scientific Specialty Boards (CESB) it was granted full accreditation of its Certified Professional Environmental Auditor (CPEA) certification.
BEAC strives to achieve global recognition in the EH&S Auditor certification. It enables organizations to improve their EH&S performance by attracting all EH&S Auditors to become certified and by becoming the preferred choice for EH&S Auditor certification. BEAC also makes great efforts to increase the demand for certified EH&S auditors and to increase the competency of certified auditors by partnering with professional development groups who are focused on the same goal.

Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM®)
The Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) administers certification programs for professionals in the business of hazardous materials general management and other related areas. IHMM strives to uphold the high level of educational standards necessary for protecting the environment, health and safety of the public through its widely recognized programs. Government and regulatory agencies, environmental groups, and the hazardous materials industry as a whole, acknowledge and promote IHMM’s Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM) credential, Certified Hazardous Materials Practitioner (CHMP) credential, and its Hazardous Materials Manager-in-Training (HMMT) program.

National Environmental, Safety and Health Training Association (NESHTA)
NESHTA is an educational society dedicated to environmental, safety, health and other technical training and adult education professionals. The U.S. EPA supports NESHTA's mission to promote trainer competency through trainer skills training, continuing education, voluntary certification, peer networking and the adoption of national and international training and trainer standards. It is their belief that trainer education is the most critical component for effectively implementing programs, and that professionals have a responsibility to continuously build on their knowledge and skills.
